I’m a coach, professor, and global trainer who works at the intersection of storytelling, reinvention, and responsible AI. After more than two decades as a journalist and faculty member at San Francisco State University, I’ve spent my career teaching people how to think critically, communicate clearly, and lead with intention.

As a U.S. Fulbright Specialist, I designed a 10-day AI journalism workshop at the National University of Laos, training students and faculty in AI-assisted reporting, interviewing, story structure, and verification.

I also speak at events such as PWorld’s AI in Communications Boot Camp and ONA25, where I teach my four-part prompting method for journalists and communicators.

Alongside my training and speaking, I coach creatives, educators, and leaders through career transitions and identity shifts, helping them reconnect with their voice and design the next chapter of their work with clarity and purpose.

My approach blends deep listening, honest feedback, and practical action—a combination that’s supported professionals across the U.S. and abroad as they align who they are with what they do.
